Product Overview The Immedia Butterfly is a long, wide, and stable transfer board designed to bridge longer gaps during seated transfers. It is ideal for transferring between a bed and wheelchair, shower chair/toilet, or getting in and out of a car. The Butterfly features cutouts for positioning close to the wheel of a wheelchair and non-slip pads on the underside, providing excellent stability and reducing the risk of unwanted movement or sliding during transfers. The board's upper surface has very low friction, allowing users to transfer independently or with assistance. For enhanced functionality, the Butterfly can be used with the special Butterfly GlideWing, which offers an additional slide function. The GlideWing slides along the board with even lower friction, making it especially useful for transfers involving bare skin, such as to and from a shower chair or toilet.
