This ring cushion comes with a waterproof Polyurethane (PU) fabric cover that stops urine or other fluids from soaking into the cushion itself. It also helps to reduce sliding, friction and shear - three factors that can contribute to the risk of pressure injury. The cover is machine washable at 30°C for easy cleaning.
