Cow & Gate 1 should only be used on the advice of a doctor, midwife, or health professional. Always follow preparation steps carefully to protect your baby’s health. Clean up: Wash your hands and sterilize all bottles, teats, and feeding utensils according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Boil water: Boil 1 liter of fresh tap water. Leave it to cool in the kettle for 30 minutes so it stays warm but not scalding hot (around 40°C). Measure water: Pour the required amount of cooled, boiled water into your sterilized feeding bottle. Scoop the powder: Use only the scoop provided inside the tin. Level off the powder using the built-in leveler. Do not heap, press, or pack the powder. Mix: Add the correct number of scoops to the water. Cap the bottle and shake vertically and vigorously for 10 seconds until the powder is fully dissolved. Check temperature: Cool the bottle under a running tap. Always check the temperature of the milk on the inside of your wrist before feeding. Feed immediately.
